We consider it an honor and a privilege to be able to work side by side with our clients and their family members to ensure that all of their home care needs are met. Family has always been very important to us. The love that we have for our family and people in general, has led us to pursue a career in healthcare for the last 20 years. Throughout our time in healthcare, we have served in many different capacities; such as certified nursing assistant, mental health technician, Life Skills Therapists, management of residential services in a post-acute traumatic brain injury rehabilitation facility, and community-based Case Management for Veterans with traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries.
In 2018, we moved back to the Emerald Coast to assist with my elderly mother’s care. As we assisted her to access the care she needed, we realized how overwhelming the medical system could be to navigate for those unfamiliar with the ins and outs of the process. The simple task of making an appointment with her physician, sometimes felt like we were running a never-ending marathon. Through life’s blessings, we have also been able to assist others with navigating healthcare systems and acquiring the care and/or the supplies they needed. Every day, we are blessed to serve our son, Kenneth, who has autism; so we know first hand how taxing it can be to witness our loved one struggle to complete activities that we often take for granted. It can make us feel defeated, lost, and overwhelmed with uncertainty.
This is why we are so passionate about the care provided through Hadassah Home Care. We have witnessed the disconnect within the healthcare industry where quantity has superseded quality. At Hadassah Home Care, we are raising the standards in home care services! We have worked hard to create a culture within our company, that promotes compassion, competency, respect, dignity, integrity, and inclusion. We are committed to bringing you and your loved ones the care that we would want for our loved ones to receive.
We look forward to being a part of your care team!
Sincerely,
Kenneth and Leah Owens, Owners
